Please forgive the delay...I just got in from a short fishing trip taken over the span of a long weekend. And boy are my fins tired.

But anyway.

Your intro lacks that certain je nai se quois (forgive my lousy French, too) that would move me, in other words, I'm not feeling it. Plus Seattle is the home of my arch nemesis Boligard Doomey with whom I have major beef, not the kind that speaks of the love between men that shall not be spoken, although that did happen before we fell out, biding our time before we must come together again at some unspecified future day atop a fast moving train to settle our score with sabers at twelve paces.

Ah, Boligard my friend...I'll meet you in hell!

But enough of that. Of course it doesn't concern you. other than I'm not down with Seattle and for that totally arbitrary reason it's a strike against you. So, next time read our guidelines and tailor your intro to them, or simply tell me something offbeat and personal. Sometimes that works, too. (See DOG BRAINS) Anything has a better chance than a synopsis of said tale in tandem with a litany of your literary scores and social media. It is this kind of intellectualized buggery that simply bores me and tells me, methinks, something about the quality of the venture being tendered.
