Dear Editors of TQR,
You will like this story! It's about a man who shares his consciousness with a dog, who he struggles against relentlessly. His wife goes missing and he is determined to find her. They have to work together to figure out what happened to her.
My bio:
john's work has appeared in Dreams of Rust and Glass, Tales of the Moonlit Path, and Tall Tales TV. He lives in Columbus, Ohio. He is a physical therapist. He was once a breakdancer. Thank you for your time and attention,

You know, I was going to give you the old thanks but no thanks heave ho because who are you to tell me I'm going to "like this story!"? You're not just presuming too much, but you're saying the word that shall not be spoken round these parts...we don't use the S-word round here, we call it "work" "fiction" or my personal favorite "venture."
But then you told me you're a breakdancer and I fell in love.
Against my better judgment I am sending this into the crucible of Rockefeller's terrible powers of discernment, not unlike the Eye of Sauron. So be of good cheer because it will, against all odds, have its reckoning on the floor.
I will let you know.

Mr. Rorchalk, I appreciate your passing my capital into the crucible of Rockefeller’s terrible discernment, despite my presumptuous lead-on. I’m not sure why I wrote that. Perhaps I thought, “Oh, this will catch their attention!” Call it a stunt, a poorly thought out one. Glad to make your correspondence and may the great eye spare us all.
