It was published by us in the mid 2000s but that server and host are long gone. All archives from that time period have been nuked. However, like I said, we also published an anthology in 2008 titled TOUCHING THE MONKEY: the best of www.tqrstories.com wherein THEY SINK AND ARE VANISHED AWAY can still be found. I hope that helps. I just came across an interesting fact that may invalidate everything I've relayed to you so far concerning your inquiry. It appears the piece you are after was published by TQR as Dark Abyss. I started reading it on annleckie.com where it's titled They Sink and Are Vanished Away but the url is tellingly annleckie.com/abyss. So I think we are talking about the same work. So, going from there, I told you it was published in our first anthology pub'd 2008 which is not the case. We published it in 2015 as part of our 2nd antho, TOUCHING THE MONKEY 2. Whether it was first published on our Web site as They sink and are ... I cannot say. My memory fails me on such granular detail of something so far away now. It may have been or it may have always been Dark Abyss. Who knows? Anyway. I hope that helps clear up whatever it is you are after. Thanks. Good day.
