John VC transports us to a blue-collar town in upstate New York, populated almost exclusively by 'Nam vets with anger issues, circa 1981. It's a mood piece, a character piece, rather than serving action or plot - and I think it does its job well. The protagonists face their struggles with good cheer, but without downplaying the severity of those struggles: their optimism comes not from their prospects but from grit.
We Floorites and Terminali at TQR are not given much guidance about what type of cap to favour, save for saying that it must stimulate the monkey. I've tended to interpret that as meaning a cap must take your breath away - but not all caps have that ambition. This cap is smaller than that, but perfectly formed.
It deserves a chance, so I'll vote Yes. Let's see what side of bed the Bull woke up on.

Moo!, bitches!
The Bull is going to keep this short and sweet. The Bulldog got some sleep last night and actually slept in. So, the side of the bed is irrelevant.
This cap feels like a slice of life of a dude with problems with his fucking boss. Well, on the surface. There is more to it. As the fish states, it's a mood piece and well constructed.
I'm going to say yes, and see what the monkey thinks. Because, why the fuck not?
