Although BMOBV got shot down in the terminal, it did lead to an interesting turn of events in regards to quality control specs and terminal expectations. May I just say, there is a (not so) hidden metaphor. The story is called "Both Men on Bui Vien". And Bui Vien Street is described as a place (I cant remember exactly) where the most base urges of the lowest kind of people are satisfied. There is a liberal and a conservative character... Personally, I am a liberal person and have always voted as such. This story was simply written to criticize my younger self (who saw himself as morally superior for his politics while his actions were not much better than the most trump-like american.)
It is a critique of my younger self and others now similar. And judging by the anger I seem to have inspired in you, perhaps I succeeded at least in part with this.

Thank you for extending this conversation. I label myself conservative but in another era would have also called myself a liberal in the sense of libertarian ideals that amount to live and let live. Were JFK running today he would have been excommunicated by the so-called liberal party. The crux of the matter here is that the word "liberal" itself has so been so twisted out of shape that two people having a conversation may and will have such different definitions of the word that it is impossible for them to have a constructive dialogue. But I am getting very far afield now from your capital venture, which is really why we're here. Let me just say that I have no anger at it for the simple fact that I have not read it. Owing to what a kerfuffle it's generated, perhaps I should.
