Dear capital manager,
Please accept my novelette "Turn Heel" for submission at 10,000 words. I am the co-creator and writer of The Last Herald, a serial comic book published by Odyssey Comics. I was also recently published in the February issue of Synthetic Reality Magazine. Thank you for reading.
Sincerely,

This capital has not yet reached my little cat-litter filled lift-top desk.

[The Rorschalk rubs the palantir with his long nailed fingers and tries to forget all those years when Wormtongue had his ear. Twas like having a fallen angel inside his head. Alas, he never recovered full cognition and is prone to dropping balls and forgetting what shouting mouths are for]
Forgive dear friend and colleague. I have the cap right cheer in my cold, red hands!

belated receipt to johnVC:
Forgive the delay, Mr. VC,
I've been preoccupied by a ruinous addiction to online chess of late and may priorities have fallen by the hayseed. I'm sending this to the Floor now. Rockefeller is your huckleberry.

Lichess? I spend many an hour trying to beat Stockfish at level 6. At level 5 she's my bitch, but at level 6 I get pants-down spanked nearly every time. Alas. Do you play actual humans?

Huckle Bearer. Means palm bearer. Nothing to do with the berry, which tastes best with bourbon from Kentucky.

Rox, yes. Real humans on chess.com. What's your opening of choice?

As white I almost always play e4... d4... c3 for a pawn sack. I don't know any of the openings to any real depth, but always liked the Roy Lopez. You?

With white, I always bring out the kingside knight to f3... is that right? I think it's called the Reti or something, but I don't play the real reti cuz I match black's d5 with d4 or his e5 with e4 so it transposes to something mundane. I have no idea what I'm talking about. With black, I always push the pawn that they pushed ie d5 to stop their d4, same with e pawn. I learned my openings by watching Chessbrah vids on youtube. Basically keep it simple as possible and wait for a mistake from the opponent.
