Since it has been mentioned on the business hotline, yes, the Bullmeister sleeps in a bed and he did require a new mattress and bed.
Why is it weird that this bovine would want comfort? Yes, sleeping standing in an open field has a rustic and comforting appeal. However, living among humans has rubbed off on the Bulldog culminating in adapting many human habits.
The old mattress was lumpy; the box spring torturous. And the platform bed itself had be desecrated by that bastard Mr. Pikachu. The details of which I will leave to the imagination.
Bessie and the Bullster broke down and purchased a new bed with a nifty adjustable feature which allows Bessie to silence the Bull’s snoring.
Besides the expense, the Bull is pleased with the purchase. It’s good to have backache-free mornings. It makes walking around much easier.
The subject of walking brings me to the next piece of capital “The Thins Don't Belong Here”. A cap where walking is optional, should you choose.
The first thing that struck me about the cap was the use of historically regal names. The Pacific City inhabitants are mostly named after gods or kings. Their names are as large as the residents are. Meanwhile the “thins” have more mundane names like “Louis Brownie”.
I found myself sucked into this cap. Although I found the explanation of the division between the “fats” and the “thins” and why the “fats” existed at all a little forced, I did find the cap overall competent and very engaging. So much so, that I found myself pondering it the day after I read it.
The fishy one may or may not feel the same, but I’m going to give this one a “yes” vote.
