Dear Ted Rorschalk and TQR team,
My name is Daniel Barlekamp, and I would like to submit my 6,351-word venture, "The Border Children," for consideration by TQR.
My writing for adults has appeared in Rkvry Quarterly, Dark Fire Fiction (UK), Terror House Magazine, and other publications, and my science fiction has been selected as a silver honorable mention in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. I also write fiction and poems for young readers. Outside of writing, I work as an immigration paralegal and volunteer as an ESL instructor in Salem, Massachusetts. Against my better judgment, I will be enrolling in law school this fall.
As a parting note, thank you for providing an outlet for longer ventures, and thank you for your time spent reviewing my submission.
