This is Matt McHugh, author of the "The Unfinished Novels of Mandrake Fluke."
I see the venture is now on the TQR website < tqrstories.com/tunomf > but I have received neither payment nor even any Contract or publication agreement -- simply a rather informal acceptance email on July 31, and no notification of the date the story actually went live.
Can you please let me know what the status is. Thanks.

I sent 50 dollars to your e-mail address. You're saying you did not receive it?
[2 MINUTES LATER]
Wait... I just checked my account and there is no record of the payment I thought I made to you. I'll fix that right now.
[1 MINUTE LATER]
Do you have a different e-mail address or mobile phone number set up at paypal? REDACTED is not showing as valid at the paypal site.

Hello Theodore...
Thanks for your reply. REDACTED is definitely my primary PayPay email address and I typically receive money using it no problem.
You could try mobile number REDACTED or my name as Matthew McHugh -- but REDACTED is what typically works.

All right. I think it went through this time. Sorry it took this long. I'm not big on contracts. If you want to keep it up forever you can or when you feel it's run its course you can ask us to take it down and I will. I kind of like the idea of a continuous archive scrolling to infinity, although we probably won't last forever. Anyhow. Let me know what you think and that you got paid.

Yes, payment received. Greatly appreciated.
I see this on your Contributor guidelines: "5. TQR acquires first electronic rights and the non-exclusive right to archive the work."
That's fine. Most first electronic publication rights agreements are for a year. If, after that year, anybody wants to buy a reprint I may request a takedown... but that's unlikely. I'm just glad TUNoMF has a home.
One last point: I have some graphic design experience and attached an image matching the size used on TQR that I feel has a bit more punch. Feel free to use it if you wish.
Once more, thanks very much and all the best to you.

Glad to hear it went through. And thank you for the jpeg alternative for the cover icon. I still think the pencil (the writer) and the eraser (the editor) cartoon speaks more to the back and forth of the narrative conversation though.
