Dear Editors,
Thanks so much for considering "Roses and Rue: In Which a Prince's Fate Rests on a Young Maid's Wits."
For her master's degree in English literature with emphasis in creative writing, jane VC (www.gardnercastle.com) studied the craft of fiction with Janet Peery and poetry with Janet Sylvester at Old Dominion University. Her poetry accolades include two first, one second, and two third place awards from the Poetry Society of Virginia in the last three years. Publications include a poetry book (Dreaming of Days in Astophel, under former byline Lyn C. A. Gardner), 49 short fictions in the likes of PodCastle, Daily Science Fiction, and Deep Magic, and 268 poems in Pedestal Magazine, Strange Horizons, NewMyths.com, American Arts Quarterly, The Cape Rock, and many more. She's literary executor for her father, mentor, and namesake, Delbert R. Gardner; an active member of SFWA and HWA; and a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop.
Thank you so much for your time and interest!
Best wishes, jane VC
