Dear Exalted One;
I have taken the liberty of enclosing my long venture, “The Retreat,” which is a religious encampment operated by Elder Longwish. Elder Longwish hires Verble Socald to renovate The Retreat and it is their power struggle that eventually ends in death.
(Editor's note: a "power struggle that ends in death" is just another iteration of Life's a Bitch, no?)
My venture runs approximately 9,100 words for this single submission.
I am a published writer. Most recently my work has appeared in Spontaneous Spirits, several iterations of Conceit, thrice in Tuck Magazine, in CounterPunch and in Clever Magazine.
My short venture, “Under the Weather,” was selected for inclusion in 2016's Best New Writing.
