I have recently written a short murder mystery of approximately 6600 words, entitled “Mudbound.” It opens during the Great Depression, with Claire Williams who inherits the position of sheriff from her deceased husband. She must investigate the mysterious murder of her hometown’s most despised resident, and her morality is tested when she learns the identity of the murderer.
I have been published before, in five different non-fiction anthologies. I am a regular contributor for the online blog Femnista, have been published on GoWorldTravel.com, and have guest blogged on The Artist Unleashed. My fictions have been published in Page & Spine, Dark Moon Digest, Alban Lake Publishing, I will be eventually published in The Scribe Magazine, the Transmundane Press’ Time Anthology, Fleas on the Dog Magazine, and Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine. If you decide to include “Mudbound” in TQR, please do so under my pseudonym “Veronica Leigh.” (see attached)
Thank you for your consideration.
