Squak, bitches!
It is I, Pikachu, the cute one. AKA, little bastard, Pika P, Baby Bird, Pika Pika, well you get it.
The Bullfiend is unavailable due to a death in our flock. Peep the elder passed last night and the Bull is taking it pretty hard. Peep had been a flock member before I arrived and was very loved. Unfortunately, budgies don’t live so long and she was at an advanced age. She was known for telling people to get the hell off of her spot and for biting.
She will be missed.
This cap is about computers or some such nonsense. What the hell do I know about this stuff? I’m a bird. I just know I like to tear up keyboards and crap on monitors.
The cap is written okay. Obviously the VC is not a complete dumbass. It flows alright enough and make you think. I don’t like to think, though. I like millet.
The story felt dry to me. It lacked something tangible. Maybe it’s just me.
Also, there were no birds or seed in this. So, I’m going to have to call this one a no.

The fishy one here. Methinks there are shenanigans afoot. Shenanigans, I tell ye! Mr Chu is complicit in a thinly veiled attempt to circumvent a clear conflict of interest. And I too, must declare a conflict of interest - for the venture capitalist behind Pursuing Personhood is known to me. And one of the best in the business, as far as I'm concerned.
So, having admitted my bias, spoiler alert: I vote yes on this cap, creating a tie that must be resolved by someone more neutral than I.
This is a punchy piece of topian sci-fi - I say topian because I'm on the fence about whether it's u or dys. It imagines a new category of dysphoria, in which the protagonist secretly wishes to remain an individual in a world that has assimilated human consciousness into collectives - a taboo desire, deftly handled by the VC in a way that I suspect will resonate with any readers who have ever come out as gay or enby or trans or whatever. The Utopian element is that said protagonist is granted genuine freedom to pursue this diversion from the societal norm - the DYStopian element is that the choice will relegate her to an inchoate existence on the fringes of society.
Moreover, this cap embodies a compelling debate on the flaws and virtues of individuality versus collectivism. And it contains a lesbian sex scene.
So. Yes.
