TERMINATION NOTICE FROM DUOTROPE, OUR MAIN PUSHER MAN
Dear capital manager(s),
On our latest check of TQR: Total Quality Reading, we noticed that this project appears to have fallen behind its publication schedule. We will need to see signs of recent publication on the official website by 23 August 2019, or we may have to disqualify the listing. If the publication frequency we have on record is no longer correct, please let us know. If you have published a new issue recently, please let us know where we can find it on the website.
Important note: Some of the requirements for maintaining a listing with us are an up-to-date official website with signs of regular publication and current submission guidelines. Also, the project must adhere to its publication frequency within reason. Any publication that does not meet those standards will not qualify for a listing at Duotrope. You can see the full list of requirements here: duotrope.com/about/listingcriteria.aspx
Our staff manages thousands of listings. We truly appreciate your help in keeping this listing as accurate as possible.
We hope to hear from you soon!
Best wishes,
The Duotroopers (admin team)

Hello duotrope,
It's true TQR has fallen on lean times as in averaging a submission per month. Would it help if I changed the publishing schedule to one per year instead of 3 per year? Without a duotrope listing we'd really shrivel up and die. Please advise.

Hi, Teddy,
I couldn't find anything on your site stating an annual schedule, so I've set the publication frequency on our listing to "unknown" (this still requires publication at least once per year) and I've reinstated the listing.
Please let us know if we need to make any other changes.
Best wishes,

Thank you, Shannon.
I appreciate it. We haven't pub'd anything for a while but if you go to the icons running across the top of the site you can read about the slush subs that have come in to the Floor and the ones that have been rejected in the Terminal (which is hurdle two after a piece is promoted from the Floor). TQR is all about the transparent editorial process too, not just the published stories. In other words, we're still an active site, just that the quality of subs has been so poor lately we haven't had anything worthy of publication.
Again, thank you for reinstating us and please check the third icon on the top of the site (big board of capital ventures) to see that we've still been active vetting subs.

Hi, Teddy,
Thanks for explaining about your editorial process.
However, I do want to clarify that being actively edited and publishing regularly (at least once a year) are two separate requirements, and you do need to meet both.
Best wishes,
